Mitsubishi Power implemented a TOMONI_® GT Digital Flame detection solution to improve startup reliability at Excelon’s Mystic Generating Station.  Startup delays in power plant operation can have a negative financial impact on the bottom line, in some cases more than $100,000 per incident. The year following the implementation, the site had 337 startups with zero startup trips due to the ignition detection system.
